BREAKING: Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Nwanneka Ekweremadu, have been charged with conspirng to harvest organ from a child in the UK. They will appear before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today.

The former Senate President of Nigeria Senator Ike Ekweremadu and wife Nnaemeka Ekweremadu has been arrested in UK and charged with crime related to conspiring to bring a child into UK for Organ harvesting.
Two Nigerian woman and a man have been charged with planning to traffic a child to the UK to harvest their organs.
Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55, and Ike Ekweremadu, 60, both of Nigeria, have both been charged by the Metropolitan Police following a specialist operation.
Per allegations, it’s either Ike Ekweremadu, his wife, or one of their children has a medical condition and they brought another person’s child into the UK to harvest their body part and use them. The UK doesn’t play with children.
According to The Sun UK Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55, and Ike Ekweremadu, 60, are in police custody and have been charged with trying to bring a child to the UK to harvest their organs. They will appear in court later today.”
Charges were brought against the pair, who are from Nigeria, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime team.
A child has now been safeguarded.
The investigation was launched after detectives were alerted to potential offences under modern slavery legislation in May 2022, the force said.
