The title of Abobaku has to be one of the most scariest title to ever existed in Yoruba land, so now that Alaafin of Oyo is dead automatically he will also be announced dead even though he’s still hale and healthy?.

It was gathered online that the man who’s supposed to be buried with the king according to Yoruba culture and traditions Abobaku has runaway and is on his way to London.

There has Been long standing tradition in Yoruba land that whenever a king dies he will be buried with someone but little did some Nigerians online know that the said tradition was abolish longtime ago in the year 1859.

Abobaku is a title in Yoruba land and it means one who dies with the king and anyone who bear this title was buried alongside with the king after the king is pronounced dead.

The title is meant to strengthen loyalty and avoid betrayal to the king because whoever holds the title is meant to protect the king at all cost.

Abobaku title was said to have been a dead trap for whoever holds the title as whoever holds the title his life is dependent on how long the king lives and in the past the position was mostly contested like every other position because of the benefits attached to it.

Abobaku is the most closest person to the king and has every right has the king but this depends on the culture and traditions of the kingdom in question.
