Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo became the first footballer to reach the status of billionaire.
The 35 years old was named billionaire by Forbes after earning $105 million in the past year.
Ronaldo is only the 3rd athlete to hit the $1bn mark while still playing.
He’s made $650m during 17 years & is expected to reach $765m in career salary.
Nike pays him over $20m annually & signed him to a lifetime deal in 2016: the only others were Jordan and LeBron James.
