Nigerian man identified as Leonard Chika was on 15th May 2020 shot dead in Port Harcourt Rivers State.
His dead which happens right in front of his girlfriend along mile 3 axis of Diobu Port Harcourt.
The port Harcourt police command has since taken prompt action to investigate the circumstances surrounding his dead.
His death was is as a result of a mistaken identify was share on Facebook by a Facebook user identified as Ezebunwo Ichemati who called him a friend.
He was said to be walking on the street of Mile 3 port Harcourt when some unknown gunmen mistook him for their Target and he was shot dead right in front of his girlfriend.
He wrote. ” The blood of Leonard Chika is crying for justice, another promising young man life has been cut short these morning 15th May 2020 in a mistaken identify hit that occurred along mile3 axis of Diobu Port Harcourt.
His death is said to be associated to a cult clash in the state and Rivers State, Mr Leonard Chika has made it the number 5 persons killed so far in the state cult clash.

His body has so far been deposited in the mortuary , the police spoke person in the state while confirming the incident said effort is in place to arrest the suspected killers.
He said: Unknown Gun men killed him and we were able to identify him and taken to the mortuary. Investigation has commence and all hands are on desk to arrest his killers.
Mr Omoni further said that preliminary investigation suggest it to be a cult clash but credit cannot be tie to it yet until they conclude their investigation.
