The Nigerian Army Jos Operation Safeafe Heaven OPSH has release a Statement to apologise for killing Rinji Bala a 20 years old Unijos student on Tuesday in Jos.
On Tuesday the young Bala was arrested and handed over to the army for violating lockdown order by vigilante .
After establishing his innocence an army operative of operations safe heaven ( OPSH ) shot and killed him, his dead spark outrage in Jos as resident demand justice.
In their statement, the Operation Safe Heavens says ” They regret the sudden death of a civilian named Me Rinji Peter Bala”.
Mr Bala was mistaken for a arm robber on Monday night.

The criminals was suspected to have taken advantage of the lockdown to rob, in a quick response by section 1 of Operation Safe Heavens OPSH, seven persons were arrested and taken to the section headquarters.
Five suspect was later released but as they were leaving the premises a Nigerian Army officer of OPSH Operation Safe Heavens suspect and mistook them for escaping and open fire , that lead to the killing of Mr Rinji Peter Bala.
