Federal Government of Nigeria had announced earlier that it has completed plans to start evacuation of Nigerians stranded in USA from 10th of May.
The evacuation which was scheduled to occur on Sunday has been shifted to Saturday. ET 509 to ET 8509 on Sunday by Ethiopian airline.

These was contained in a statement issued by Nigerian consulate in New York on behalf of Nigerian mission in US.
According to the consulate ” The projected cost for the one-way economy ticket is between 1,300 dollars (N488,800) and 1,700 dollars (N639,200) per adult”.
The evacuation is going to be on first come first serve which includes those stranded with proof of short stay visa, student who want to return, the elderly, families with children.
Those booked for ET 509 will be transferred into ET 8509 they are expected to arrive Lagos airport on Monday May 11th.
