Almajiri: Taraba state rejects repatriated Almajiri from Nasawara

The Taraba state government rejects almajiri deported from Nasawara state.

The reason for rejections is that it has faulted the guidelines agreed by the northern Governor’s.

These was contained in a statement by Innocent Vakai, chairman of the Taraba COVID-19 technical committee.

Mr Innocent Vakai on Monday in Jalingo said said the Northern Governor’s Forum  had resolved that repatriated almajiris must undergo tests to determine their COVID-19 status.

The measures also includes that the almajiri must be accompanied by the deported state Official and their test results handed to their state of Origin officials to determine their Coronavirus status and that proper documentation must be made before the almajiri will be accepted.

He further added that Taraba state had not yet started it own repatriation of almajiris to their respective state of Origin while adding that the state Covid-19 female patient who escape had been found but he did  not disclose how she was found
