Kano: 3,000 primary Healthcare workers deployed to fight Coronavirus

Not less than 3,000 primary Healthcare workers in Kano were redeployed to join the fight for Coronavirus in Kano state.

These was made known to the public my the secretary to the Government of the Federation Mr Boss Mustapha who is the chairman presidential taskforce on Covid-19 and the media briefing today Friday 1st May 2020.

Contact tracing have been expanded by the taskorce.

Training of manpower at different categories is being carried out for medical, nursing , cleaners etc.

We’re putting out a structure from the presidential taskforce team to provide support on full time base.

The United Nations system coordinated by the World Health Organisation is also putting together a search team and repurposing 3,000 community informants from the Primary Healthcare in Kano State to strengthen the coordination of COVID-19 at state and local government levels.
